DCCC TV Ad Asks Ohio Seniors, Do You Trust Insurance Companies Like Congressman Johnson Does?

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today launched its third Independent Expenditure TV ad revealing how Congressman Bill Johnson would leave seniors at the mercy of insurance companies. The DCCC’s TV ad, “Trust,”  shows how Congressman Johnson’s plan would end the Medicare guarantee for Ohio seniors instead forcing them to deal directly with insurance companies and pay $6,400 more every year for their benefits. The ad starts running today in the Wheeling market.

Voiceover:  Do you trust insurance companies to do the right thing?

Bill Johnson does.

Johnson supports a plan that ends Medicare’s guaranteed benefit.

That’s not just talk.

Under Johnson’s plan, seniors would be forced to buy insurance directly from the insurance companies.

Think about that.

Experts say seniors would be forced to pay sixty-four hundred dollars more every year.

But really, who wants more insurance companies in their life?

Bill Johnson does.
