Adam Kinzinger’s Plan For The Economy: Ship Illinois Jobs Overseas

Republican Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) will hold a so-called “More Jobs, Less Spending” town-hall forum this evening, but will he reveal his support for expanding unfair free trade agreements that ship American jobs overseas?  Unfair free trade agreements have already had a devastating affect on Illinois families.  As a result of the North American Free Trade Agreement, Illinois lost 47,701 jobs to foreign countries and Illinois lost another 105,500 jobs due to unfair trade agreements with China.

“Adam Kinzinger can talk all he wants about jobs but the fact remains that he supports trade arrangements that will ship the jobs of hardworking Illinois families overseas,” said Gabby Adler, Midwestern Regional Press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.  “Illinois families deserve a Representative who will work to create jobs right here at home and stand up for the middle class, not someone like Kinzinger who wants to ship Illinois jobs overseas.”
