New Ad: Congressman Duffy “Axed” Medicare, But Gave Himself Taxpayer Funded Healthcare

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's Independent Expenditure released its third TV ad, "Axe," which exposes how Congressman Sean Duffy brought the axe to Washington, gutting Medicare, but protecting pay and perks for himself. Congressman Sean Duffy voted to essentially end Medicare and hike the cost for seniors by more than $6,000 while at the same time voting to protect his own pay and give Members of Congress taxpayer funded health care for life.

Script of DCCC IE AD “Axe”

Voiceover:      Congressman Duffy said he'd bring the axe.  And did he ever.
Trying to gut Medicare.
Undermining Medicare warned the nonpartisan AARP.
Essentially ending it.
And increasing costs over six thousand a year.
But Duffy's pay?  He voted to protect it.
And give Congress taxpayer-funded health care - for life.
Congressman Duffy just doesn't get it.
