New DCCC Ad Exposes Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack For Siding With Special Interests Over Seniors

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee continued its offense on Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack with a new Independent Expenditure ad reminding voters that she has sided with special interests instead of California seniors. Congresswoman Bono Mack, who has taken $125,850 from the insurance industry, voted to turn Medicare into a voucher system, leaving seniors at the whims of her private insurance company contributors.

Script of “Holding” (CA-36)

Robotic voice:  You have reached the insurance industry. California seniors, please hold.

Voiceover: Your retirement. On hold.

Because Mary Bono Mack voted to remove Medicare’s promise. . .

Costing you more.

Forcing you to haggle with insurance companies for care.

Robotic voice:  If you are Mary Bono Mack, press “2”

Mary! As one of our best friends in Washington we’ll put you right through!

Voiceover: Mary Bono Mack. Putting special interests over seniors. The wrong call for California.
