DCCC Releases TV Ad: Breast Cancer Survivor Attacks Congressman Renacci on Preventative Care

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today launched its first Independent Expenditure TV ad in Ohio's 16th district that holds Congressman Jim Renacci for cutting breast cancer screenings while protecting perks for himself. The DCCC ad, "In Time" features a breast cancer survivor who claims Congressman Renacci put himself before everyone else.

In 2011, Congressman Renacci voted to cut women's access to breast and cervical cancer screenings, but one of his first votes in Congress was to to ensure he can have health care coverage for life.

Smart: I had second stage breast cancer at 48 years old and they caught it in time.
But there's a lot of women that aren't so lucky.
I'll never understand these guys in Washington like Jim Renacci.
He voted against critical funding for life saving breast and cervical cancer screenings.
Instead he votes to give politicians perks like tax payer funded health care for life.
Jim Renacci sure puts himself ahead of us.
