DCCC Launches First Ad Accusing Congressman Bobby Schilling of Losing Touch with Illinois
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today launched its first Independent Expenditure TV ad in Illinois' 17th district attacking Congressman Bobby Schilling for becoming part of the problem in Washington and losing touch with Illinois middle class families. The DCCC ad, "One of Them," holds Congressman Schilling accountable for voting to end Medicare and forcing seniors to pay $6,400 more for their benefits just to give tax breaks to companies that ship jobs overseas. The ad begins running today.

Script of DCCC IE AD “One of Them”
Voiceover: Everything moves faster these days…
Even the time it takes a Congressman to lose touch with us.
Like Bobby Schilling.
Schilling voted to cut Medicare, costing seniors an extra $6400 per year… to pay for tax breaks for millionaires.
And jobs? Schilling voted to keep tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas, and supports bad trade deals that hurt us here at home.
Bobby Schilling, it sure didn’t take long for HIM to become one of THEM.
