Campaign 2010

Jun 17, 2004

Here’s a safe bet.  If you ever hear anybody disagreeing with the administration, odds are they are part of the THE GREAT LIBERAL CONSPIRACY.  Newly inducted members:

The consumer group AARP backed a controversial bill to allow for the reimportation of prescription drugs in order to appease the Democrats, some Republicans suggested yesterday.

The 9/11 Commission:

Rep. Ray LaHood (R-Ill.), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, told The Hill: “I don’t put much credence in the 9-11 panel,” adding that he had not yet read the new report.

Well surely this is one of those times where the “moderates” will step up and show some integrity, right?

Rep. Chris Shays (R-Conn.), who has made several trips to postwar Iraq, said: “Iraq is a terrorist nation. ... [Al Qaeda] and Iraq, they’re like peas in a pod. They’re like-minded.”

Nope, still waiting Shays.  Cheney couldn’t have said it better himself.

Oh, and lest I forget, we had a conference call with “The Media,” and they’re on board too.
